So I’m at HEB doing my bi weekly shopping and I have a young Caucasian female cashier. She’s obviously exhausted and is coming to the end of her shift. I place all my items on the conveyor belt and she proceeds to say to me “and a watermelon too” I immediately take offense to this because I am black and I didn’t purchase a watermelon even though I stopped and looked at them for longer than I probably should have lol. Then my girl looks at her purse and realizes that the cashier mistook it for a watermelon LMAO.
